How to receive and manage orders in OctoTable .
From the OctoTable Booking Engine, it is possible to receive orders for:
π₯‘ Takeaway β The customer selects the time to pick up the order at the restaurant, chooses the desired items from the digital menu, and, depending on the service configuration, can pay when placing the order or upon pickup.
π΅ Delivery β The customer can request delivery to their home or another location, provided it falls within the configured distance and delivery time limits. The process is similar to takeaway, but before starting the order, the customer must enter their address, which must be approved by the system
πͺ Table orders β Each table has a QR code that allows the customer to order either with an existing reservation or without one. By scanning the QR code, the system automatically retrieves the table, date, and time. After authentication, the customer can proceed with the order.
All orders, regardless of the channel, can be managed directly from OctoTable according to their status.
